Why the early start
My Son sits in a humid jungle valley that bakes by mid-morning. An early sunrise tour from $19 gets you there in cool light with the temples nearly empty, before the day-tour buses arrive. The difference in heat, crowds and photos is dramatic.
What you get
Most sunrise tours include hotel pickup around 5 am, transport, a guide who explains the Cham history, entry to the ruins and often a gentle boat trip back along the river. You are usually back in Hoi An by late morning with the day still ahead.
Sunrise vs daytime
