By private tour

The smoothest way is a private tour from $75 that pairs the caves with the giant Lady Buddha statue and the Son Tra peninsula. It is a relaxed half day with a driver who waits while you climb.

By taxi or car

A taxi from Hoi An reaches the entrance in about 30 minutes. Ask the driver to wait or arrange a return, and buy your entry and elevator ticket at the gate. This is the cheapest way if you just want the mountains themselves.

Stairs or elevator

The main mountain, Thuy Son, has a glass elevator that skips the first climb, then stairs and cave passages at the top. Wear grippy shoes, as the marble steps get slippery. See the full Marble Mountains guide.

Pair it with Lady Buddha

A private half day to the caves, Lady Buddha and the coast.

About 20 km, or roughly 30 minutes by road toward Da Nang. They make an easy half-day trip, often combined with the Lady Buddha statue.

Yes. A glass elevator takes you up the first and main mountain, Thuy Son, for a small fee, saving the initial staircase. You still walk and climb among the caves at the top.

A private tour that combines them with Lady Buddha and Monkey Mountain is the most efficient, but a taxi from Hoi An works fine if you want to explore at your own pace.
